AI avatar
Definition
An AI avatar is the animated face of a persona: real-time generated video that speaks with a synchronised voice and makes the simulation feel like a real face-to-face meeting. It complements voice when the situation takes place in person or on a video call.
Also called
video avatar, digital human
When to choose an avatar
For an interview, a negotiation meeting or a consultation, seeing the counterpart changes how people sit and where they look. For a phone call, voice only is often more realistic.
What the avatar adds to the debrief
Facing an avatar, the learner also works on posture, gaze and gestures: non-verbal signals the debrief can pick up.
With Face Up
The customer chooses the format for each scenario: voice only, avatar, or both. The persona behaves the same whatever the format.
