Role-play (training)
Definition
Role-play is a training technique in which participants act out a work situation, one in their own role and another as the counterpart, before debriefing it. It is one of the most effective methods for building interpersonal skills.
Also called
practice scenario, roleplay, classroom simulation
Its limits
In a classroom, each person only plays once or twice, in front of the group. Hiring an actor is expensive, and a colleague playing the customer has neither the same level of challenge nor the same consistency.
What AI adds
AI role-play keeps the value of the method and removes those limits: each learner replays as often as they like, whenever they like, facing a consistent counterpart, with a debrief every time.
With Face Up
Face Up is used before training (diagnosis), during it (simulation projected in the room, played as a group) and after it (independent practice).
