AI coaching

Definition

AI coaching is an exchange between the learner and a coach driven by artificial intelligence, which asks questions, paraphrases and points to resources to review. It helps anchor what has been learned, between sessions or after a simulation.

Also called

AI coach, conversational coach

What an AI coach does

It checks understanding through conversation (“what would you do if the customer says no?”), helps the learner put into words what they took away and flags what to work on again.

What it does not replace

The AI coach extends the work of the trainer or human coach between meetings; it does not replace them.

With Face Up

Face Up AI coaching works in voice or facing an avatar: questions, paraphrasing and resources to review, to anchor what has been learned.
